My name is Victor Howe, the green thumb behind the water can.

My journey into indoor gardening began over 25 years ago.

Living in Texas I got worn out fighting the heat, bugs, and drought.

I also wanted fresh vegetables, fruit, herbs, and flowers too.

Not just during the growing season but also throughout the dreary and messy winter months.

I began to experiment with indoor gardening.

At first, we transformed a small area in our home into a windowsill garden spot. Of course, it has grown into a much larger passion or an obsession since.

Over the years, our urban oasis became a testament to the possibilities of indoor cultivation.

Through trial and error and generous help from dozens of others we  gained a wealth of knowledge about indoor gardening.

In the beginning Indoor gardening was confusing and often  disappointing. It was tough without AI to glean useful information on the world wide web. Lol  You Tube was not yet a twinkle in its creators’ eyes.

Realistically the research took time and perseverance, but each success fired up our passion and desire to keep growing.  The experience of watching a seed disappear below a dusting of soil and moistened by the gift of water then bursting into being is a simple inspiring miracle.
